Jane Mackie

Jane B. Mackie is a Senior Associate at Bryan Schwartz Law, P.C. Before she joined the firm, Ms. Mackie worked in the public sector for almost ten years. As a deputy attorney general for the State of California, Ms. Mackie represented state employees in civil actions, handling constitutional and tort claims. More recently, Ms. Mackie worked as a deputy district attorney, where she successfully tried numerous cases before a jury.

Ms. Mackie attended Columbia Law School, where she was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar each year of her attendance.

After law school, Ms. Mackie served as a law clerk to Honorable Carlos T. Bea of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She received a bachelor’s degree in American studies from Northwestern University, where she graduated cum laude.
