Bryan Schwartz Law, P.C. is pleased to announce Vasomnoleak (Leak) Ly has joined the firm as a Summer Associate. Leak received the 2026 Employee Justice Fellowship from the Foundation for Advocacy, Inclusion & Resources (FAIR) in support of his work at the firm.
A student at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, Leak has served as the Notes Editor for the Journal of Employment and Labor Law, Senior Submissions Editor for the Journal of International Law, Pro Bono Student Leader for the Queer Justice Project, and Diversity Chair for the Plaintiffs’ Law Association.
In the summer of 2025, Leak was an Equal Justice Fellow at Oasis Legal Services, where he advocated for LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers. Prior to law school, he worked in Community Health at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he helped low-income and immigrant patients navigate social services and the hospital system. He graduated from Swarthmore College with Highest Honors in Anthropology and Educational Studies, and conducted anthropology research in Cambodia on a Fulbright after graduation. As a first-generation American and college student, he is dedicated to securing economic and social justice, and hopes to use what he learns this summer to advocate for workers, immigrants, and other vulnerable groups.
