The Daily Journal’s profile published on Schwartz focused on his victory this year in the Tesla race harassment class action, where he led a litigation team in obtaining certification of what is believed to be the largest harassment class ever certified, exposing the rampant use of the N-word and other racist epithets at the company’s Fremont, California factory. As with other landmark victories won by Schwartz in recent years, the Tesla class certification win was hard-fought (six rounds of briefing on the cert motion alone) and a long time coming – nearly seven years. The Tesla battle is expected to continue for years more.
