Class Action Settlement

Case Summary

This class action lawsuit is brought on behalf of security guards employed by the Whitestone Group in the state of California from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 who worked at any of the six Federal Aviation Administration sites (Mather, San Diego, Los Angeles, Palmdale, San Francisco, and Oakland). Bryan Schwartz Law and Nichols Kaster, LLP represent Plaintiffs Garrett Jenkins, Buford Brown, Cruz Castillo, Germaine Vaughn and Rolland Finch who allege that Whitestone failed to provide off-duty meal periods and rest breaks and violated other California’s wage and hour laws. The San Francisco County Superior Court granted preliminary approval on a class-wide settlement of the wage and hour claims asserted by former guards for the Whitestone Group, Inc. on November 20, 2015.
