Bryan Schwartz Law, P.C. Welcomes Attorney Logan Starr to the Oakland-Based Civil Rights, Employment Law Firm
January 6, 2016, Oakland – Bryan Schwartz Law, P.C. is pleased to welcome Logan Starr to the firm as an Associate Attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Starr served two years as a law clerk to the Honorable L. Patrick Auld, United States Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of North Carolina. Mr. Starr graduated magna cum laude from Duke University School of Law in 2013, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. As a law student, Mr. Starr worked for the AIDS Legal Assistance Project, providing legal services to HIV+ individuals with an emphasis on employment discrimination, disability benefits, and estate and end-of-life planning. Mr. Starr also handled various employment-law matters during summer positions with the North Carolina Department of Transportation and the Duke Office of University Counsel. In addition, Mr. Starr served as Articles Editor for the Duke Law Journal, in which he also published a note on interstate water rights.
Mr. Starr is a 2006 graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and hails from Tacoma, Washington. The firm’s principal, Bryan Schwartz, opened the practice in January 2009.
