Ryan T. Chin
Ryan T. Chin is an Associate at Bryan Schwartz Law, focusing on employment discrimination, whistleblower, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. Prior to joining Bryan Schwartz Law, Mr. Chin worked as a staff attorney in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from 2014 to 2019 where he worked on the Civil Research Unit. Prior to that, Mr. Chin worked as a staff attorney in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from 2012 to 2014 where he worked as a generalist on civil, criminal, immigration, habeas, and immigration matters.
Mr. Chin graduated from UCLA School of Law with a specialization in Critical Race Studies. While in law school, Mr. Chin served as a Comments Editor for the UCLA Law Review, as Admissions Chair for the Asian and Pacific Islander Law Students Association, and as a mentor in the Law Fellows program, and he published a student note in the UCLA Law Review. Mr. Chin also successfully obtained a remand for his client in the Ninth Circuit Appellate Advocacy Clinic. He served as a research assistant for Professor Hiroshi Motomura and as a legal intern for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Outside of work, Mr. Chin volunteers at Berkeley Humane Society, Reading Partners, and Family Giving Tree.
