Jane Mackie Hired as a Senior Associate

Bryan Schwartz Law, P.C. is pleased to announce that Jane B. Mackie, a former prosecutor with civil and appellate experience, has joined the firm as a Senior Associate.

Ms. Mackie graduated from Columbia Law School in 2012.  After law school, Ms. Mackie worked as a research fellow in New York before becoming a clerk to Honorable Carlos T. Bea of the Ninth Circuit in 2013.  Ms. Mackie worked for Judge Bea until early 2016, when she joined the California Department of Justice as a Deputy Attorney General.  There, Ms. Mackie gained extensive civil litigation experience, including in employment-related matters.

In 2018, Ms. Mackie became a deputy district attorney.  In her work as a prosecutor, Ms. Mackie accomplished justice through negotiated resolutions in hundreds of cases.  In more than a dozen cases where the parties were not able to reach a pretrial resolution, Ms. Mackie brought cases before a jury.

Ms. Mackie joins Bryan Schwartz Law, P.C. eager to make workplaces equitable and safe by holding employers accountable.

Attorney Bryan Schwartz opened the practice in January 2009.
