CASE SUMMARY
The Plaintiff in this case is a former IRI Client Service Analyst who brought suit on behalf of herself and all Client Service Analysts, Client Insights Analysts, Client Service Consultants, and Client Insights Consultants who were employed by IRI in the past three years and who were not paid overtime pay. The Plaintiff alleges that IRI violated federal law (the FLSA) by denying collective action members overtime pay, because they were treated as salaried employees but should have been treated as hourly employees, based upon the applicable legal standards. In particular, during the relevant period, Plaintiff contends that federal law required IRI to pay Analysts and Consultants (if exempted from overtime) overtime wages (1.5 times the regular rate of pay) for any hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.

IRI has denied Plaintiff’s claims in this matter, contending that all collective action members were paid properly.
